Coronavirus Precautions

City Theatre is actively monitoring the impact of COVID19 (coronavirus) on our community and following the guidance of the CDC and local officials. This is a fluid situation and transmission risk remains low in Western Pennsylvania.

Our top priority is always the health and safety of our employees, volunteers, patrons, and artists.

Out of an abundance of caution, we have instituted enhanced cleaning practices including:

•    all public areas of our cultural campus
•    surfaces in the lobby
•    stairways
•    handrails
•    doors
•    theater seat armrests

Staff has been instructed to not come to work if they are feeling ill.

We are encouraging healthy behavior including:

•    frequent hand-washing of at least 20 seconds
•    covering one's mouth when sneezing and coughing
•    limiting the touching of one's face
•    limiting direct physical contact with others (handshakes, etc)

If you are experiencing a fever or cough at the time of your scheduled performance, we encourage you to stay home. We have relaxed our ticket exchange policies and ask that you call the box office to discuss options. However, please know that we have put in place all of the recommended practices around this virus and all performances are currently proceeding as scheduled.

As new information becomes available, we will communicate any changes.

For more information about COVID19 and recommended precautions, please visit www.cdc.gov/nCov.
