2012 Young Playwrights Festival
October 6-7, 2012
City Theatre's annual Young Playwrights Festival features six one-act plays from vibrant, young voices. This year's festival showcases a variety of theatrical worlds, including a Depression-era Texas farm, a magical forest of Wonderland proportions, a generations-old pastry shop, an aristocratic mansion alive with intrigue, and more. Characters range from an old man confronting his mortality to a young woman with a rebellious spirit and revolutionary aspirations.
Each public performance, indicated below as either a Middle School or High School show, features three one-acts from the 2012 Young Playwrights Contest winners.
